JPMorgan analyst Ken Goldman lowered his price target for Campbell Soup to $32 following the "soft" guidance and the CEO's resignation. On fundamentals alone, Campbell "arguably" warrants a rating downgrade, but the strategic review could result in major changes, including the sale of the entire company, Goldman tells investors in a research note. He sees a sale as unlikely, but says he cannot eliminate the possibility, especially with the Dorrance family now controlling less than 50% of the shares. As such, Goldman keeps a Neutral rating on Campbell Soup.
