Cowen analyst J. Derrick Wood said his checks point to a mixed Q1, but stronger Q2 pipeline outlook, for Salesforce, which is scheduled to report results on June 4. Investor questions around contract structure changes, sales incentive programs, the Salesforce.org acquisition, and margin uncertainty have all placed a recent overhang on Salesforce and expectations are low heading into the report, said Wood, who thinks these issues can be cleared up and ultimately position the stock for a rebound. He maintains an Outperform rating on Salesforce shares.
