Needham analyst Rajvindra Gill raised his price target for Cirrus Logic (CRUS) to $70 from $65 after the company posted "solid results." The analyst says he does not expect dollar content gains at Apple (AAPL) this year, and hence expects the Apple business to be primarily be driven by higher sell through units, which could provide upside to the guidance range. Gill reiterates a Buy rating on Cirrus Logic's shares and says he would be a buyer on weakness.

Apple (AAPL) supplier TSMC (TSM) has unveiled its A16 chip manufacturing technology featuring nanosheet transistors with "backside power rails" meant for producing its ultra-advanced 1.6nm chips by 2026, Nikkei Asia's Cheng Ting-Fang reports. TSMC says the introduction of the technology can "greatly improve logic density and performance." Reference Link
