Wells Fargo says CSC's $190M settlement with the SEC eliminates a "key hurdle" to moving forward with the spinoff of the company's government unit set for early October. The settlement could also pave the way for a whole or partial sale of CSC, as media reports have speculated, Wells tells investors in a research note. The firm keeps an Outperform rating on CSC, noting its sum-of-the-parts valuation suggests a low $80 value for the stock. Shares of CSC are up 28c to $67.99 in morning trading.
