As previously reported, Stephens analyst Tyler Stafford upgraded CenterState Banks to Overweight from Equal Weight citing valuation following the stock's underperformance compared to the bank index over the past 6 months. He notes that his prior worries about a soft mortgage ramp and noise around crossing $10B in assets have "come and gone unscathed" and he now sees the stock's valuation discount to peers as unwarranted. Stafford raised his price target on CenterState to $33 from $30.
