As previously reported, Sandler O'Neill analyst Stephen Scouten upgraded CapStar Financial to Buy from Hold after the company completed its acquisition of Athens Bancshares as he believes the deal provides CapStar with needed scale, adds liquidity and should improve profitability. Scouten, who thinks there could be some upside to his NIM expectations in early 2019 on the Athens combination, believes CapStar shares should move back to $19 over the next 12 months, he tells investors.
