Loop Capital analyst Joseph Vafi kept his Buy rating and $94 price target on Cognizant, saying the recent pullback has created a "unique buying opportunity". The analyst believes that the 2% headwind to the company's growth created by European bank clients transitioning to "different buckets of IT spend" will fade, accelerating Cognizant's sales and earnings growth "driven by strong enterprise IT budgets, a higher mix of digital services and ongoing margin expansion". Vafi also points to Cognizant's "de minimus exposure to Asian tariff risk" on the supply and the demand side of its business as well as its widest valuation disparity with close peers "in recent memory".
