As previously reported, Baird analyst Rob Oliver downgraded Citrix to Neutral from Outperform, stating that his recent survey of channel partners produced a score that was the lowest since early 2013. Given that channel partner survey results appear more mixed, there is work to be done on the product and go-to-market front for its newly announced Citrix Workspace App and the stock has moved higher, he now views the near-term risk-reward as more balanced, Oliver tells investors. However, given the downgrade timing ahead of earnings, he added that he does not think "there's a reason to sound the alarm on the quarter." Oliver has a $112 price target on Citrix shares.
