Stephens analyst Farha Aslam lowered her Q1 and FY16 earnings estimates for Calavo Growers to account for weaker volumes largely due to the timing of the Super Bowl and start-up expenses related to its new Jacksonville facility, respectively. The analyst lowered her price target accordingly to $60 from $65 but keeps an Overweight rating on the stock as she sees Calavo as having one of the "most compelling portfolios in the food industry." The Fly notes that Calavo Growers shares were downgraded this morning at DA Davidson.
