William Blair analyst Jason Ader believes Elliott Management makes a "compelling case" for change at Commvault Systems and that a "shake-up is necessary" for the company at this juncture. If Commvault can achieve a 25% free cash flow margin in 2020 with annual revenue growth 8% from 2017 to 2020, the stock could be worth around $80 in 12 months, or 26% upside from current levels, Ader tells investors in a research note. The analyst keeps an Outperform rating on the shares.
