BofA/Merrill analyst Kristine Liwag upgraded Curtiss-Wright to Buy and raised its price target to $136 from $105 saying it is a significant beneficiary of US Navy submarines and embedded computing. The analyst said Curtiss is the sole source coolant pump manufacturer for US Navy nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers and provides off-the-shelf embedded computing board level modules and integrated subsystems. Liwang increased his estimates saying there is a shortage of submarines and the Navy's push to increase procurement provides long-term growth.
