Piper Jaffray analyst Troy Jensen says feedback from his firm's 3D printing survey was "discouraging again" as the industry continues to work through the excess capacity. Systems sales were well below plan in Q2, but actual results for the quarter relative to estimates may not be as bad as the feedback is indicating given reduced expectations, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Jensen continues to believe second half of 2015 estimates are too high for both 3D Systems (DDD) and Stratasys (SSYS). The analyst upgraded shares of voxeljet (VJET) this morning to Overweight.
