Janney Capital analyst Ken Trbovich said Starboard's history shows a "high level of investment success" with its healthcare investments and he expects the fund's recently disclosed interest in Depomed to result in "constructive criticism." Starboard's success in gaining control of the Board of Darden may embolden it to push more aggressively with Depomed than it has in past healthcare transactions, contends Trbovich, who keeps a Buy rating on the stock.
