BofA/Merrill analyst Kenneth Bruce upgraded Discover to Buy from Neutral and raised its price target to $81 from $69 to reflect a healthier macro environment and potentially lower taxes and easing regulation that could drive earnings upside. Bruce expects Discover to benefit from faster growth, better than expected credit performance, and lower tax rates.
