Cleveland Research analyst Scott Bender said his checks suggest Dollar General's sales momentum slowed a bit more than he'd expected in the back half of the quarter, but its Q3 same-store sales growth should still top consensus expectations. He has lowered his Q3 comp store sales estimate to up 4.0% from up 4.2%, but notes this is still above consensus, which is calling for 3.3% growth. Bender has a Neutral rating on Dollar General shares.
