After it was reported that a Court of Appeals remanded a case against Dish's "designated entities" in the recent spectrum auction back to the FCC, BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk called the ruling a "big court win for Dish" that could ultimately result in $3.8B of incremental value if the bidding credits are reinstated to the two bidders. The process, however, is not over, as the case has been sent back to the FCC, though it is now under the new leadership of Ajit Pai, Piecyk told investors.
