In part two of a survey of over 1,000 consumers regarding Disney's recent streaming plan announcements, Piper Jaffray analyst Stan Meyers says 19% of those surveyed expressed interest in subscribing to an ESPN streaming service. Of those interested, 41% would pay more than $5 per month, Meyers tells investors. The analyst estimates the service can reach 6M subscribers over the next few years once the complete ESPN streaming service is launched. Meyers, who sees ESPN streaming helping Disney with its leverage with multichannel video programming distributors, keeps an Overweight rating and $130 price target on Disney shares.
