Oppenheimer analyst Brian Nagel says his now more optimistic nearer-term outlook for Dick's Sporting is due to his belief that the company should benefit markedly in coming quarters following recent, significant "competitive fallout" in the Sporting Goods Sector. The analyst expects the chain to capture sales from now shuttered stores of leading competitors. He reiterates an Outperform rating and $75 price target on the shares.
