Catch up on today's top five analyst upgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Dow Inc. (DOW) upgraded to Neutral from Underweight at JPMorgan with analyst Jeffrey Zekauskas saying consensus estimates for both price and volume in the second half of 2019 are now more conservative with trade issues between the U.S. and China unresolved, Brexit issues in Europe pending, and global growth slower. 2. Ericsson (ERIC) upgraded to Outperform from Neutral at Credit Suisse with analyst Achal Sultania saying a detailed CapEx analysis at leading telcos globally suggests that 5G will prove to be a longer and better upgrade cycle. 3. 1-800-Flowers.com (FLWS) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Sidoti. 4. Kratos Defense (KTOS) upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan with analyst Seth Seifman saying Kratos has made good progress on "several fronts," the most important being its Valkyrie tactical drone, which has gained the attention of Air Force. 5. Bloomin' Brands (BLMN) upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Guggenheim with analyst Matthew DiFrisco saying he sees the company being in the early innings of a turnaround following consecutive quarters of improving margins and free cash flow.
