Jefferies analyst George Notter says current speculation asserts that Dow Chemical (DOW) may buy Corning's (GLW) stake in their 50/50 joint venture, Dow Corning. Such a deal is unlikely as Corning shareholders would not realize much benefit, Notter tells investors in a research note.
