After Israel's Globes said that Amdocs (DOX) is in advanced talks to buy Comverse's (CNSI) billing unit for $300M-$400M, JPMorgan said it believes Comverse has had the unit up for sale for quite some time and that such a deal could make strategic and financial sense for Amdocs. However, the firm added that such a deal might suggest that Amdocs management sees limited opportunities for organic growth in the near-term. JPMorgan has a Neutral rating on Amdocs shares.
