Stephens analyst Will Slabaugh lowered his price target on Domino's Pizza shares to $300 from $325 after the company reported Q2 U.S. same-store sales that came in at the low end of its long-term guide and "soft" international results. In the short-term, he expects the slowing 2-year trend and "inability to disprove the short thesis" to weigh on shares until trends stabilize, but over the longer-term Slabaugh thinks Domino's investments in technology will result in faster same-store and unit growth than peers. He keeps an Overweight rating on the stock.
