Bernstein analyst Sara Senatore attributes Darden's "consistent outperformance" at both Olive Garden and LongHorn to a combination of scale advantages, reinvestment, and operating discipline, and contends that these structural advantages will persist. She also believes the company can improve margins and same store sales at Cheddars by bringing the same operating discipline to the brand and thinks Darden's guidance could prove conservative. Senatore has an Outperform rating on Darden shares.
