As reported earlier, Needham analyst Rick Patel initiated DSW with a Buy rating and a price target of $29, saying the company is on "strong footing" and a positive comps trend that he expects to continue. The analyst also sees growth coming from the addition of new customers as the company expands its capacity with new stores and geography in Canada, as well as the development of its Kids business. While investments made this year could limit the upside in 2018, Patel notes that they are the right steps in the long term.
