Wolfe Research analyst Justin Lake downgraded DaVita to Peer Perform from Outperform and cut the price target to $57 from $64 citing regulatory and fundamental uncertainties. The analyst said in California the SEIU has filed a ballot measure for the 2020 election which could pressure dialysis economics in the state. Further, when combined with low visibility on both treatment growth and commercial price/mix, Lake believes uncertainties outweigh opportunities.
