RBC Capital analyst Scott Hanold noted that MEG Energy's sale of its 50% interest in the Access pipeline could now stretch into March, April or even May, which could raise concerns around Devon Energy, which will monetize its 50% ownership along with MEG's sale process. However, he still expects a transaction to occur and would be a buyer of Devon shares on any related weakness. Hanold keeps an Outperform rating on Devon Energy.
