After The Wall Street Journal reported that Comcast (CMCSA) is in preliminary talks about buying DreamWorks Animation.(DWA), Pacific Crest says that the deal would be "rational." The firm thinks that Comcast's interest in DreamWorks highlights the relatively high value of the programming for young people that DreamWorks owns. Pacific Crest adds that both Verizon (VZ) and Netflix (NFLX) could potentially consider buying DreamWorks. The firm recommends buying the stock.
