Ladenburg Thalmann analyst Christopher Nolan downgraded Dynex Capital to Neutral from Buy without a price target following the company's Q1 results. The analyst believes the company's dividend outlook is becoming less certain. He's cautious on further spread compression in Q2 and as a result, reduced his dividend outlook. Nolan estimates Dynex's new equity will need to be levered above 9.5 times to cover the dividend.
