Keefe Bruyette analyst Eric Hagen upgraded Dynex Capital to Outperform from Market Perform with a price target of $17.50, up from $15. With both nominal and option-adjusted agency mortgage-backed security spreads wide, it is "hard to overlook" Dynex's attractive valuation, Hagen tells investors in a research note. Management's "solid" track record of repurchasing stock below book value supports the valuation, adds the analyst.
