Wells Fargo analyst Jennifer Fritzsche attributes recent weakness in shares of Dycom (DY) to reports that Google (GOOG) is slowing its Fiber plans in some cities. While she believes Google is a large customer for Dycom, the company has several larger ones and Google would still need fiber to the base station even if it were to do the last mile wirelessly, the analyst tells investor. She believes the recent weakness is overdone and keeps an Outperform rating on Dycom shares.
