Electronic Arts (EA) over the weekend announced that a Fortnite-like battle royale mode will be coming to Battlefield V, which ships in October, Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson tells investors in a research note. Additionally, EA confirmed that a subscription service for frontline titles is coming, albeit only on PC to start, the analyst adds. Olson sees "many potential catalysts" over the next six months for shares of Electronic Arts. He is confident in his Overweight rating and $148 price target on the shares. Electronic Arts trades at a discounted valuation to closest comp Activision Blizzard (ATVI), Olson points out.
