Baird analyst Colin Sebastian said the formation of Electronic Arts' Competitive Gaming Division is not the company's first attempt at eSports, but he believes the company is taking the opportunity more seriously now, which he views positively since he believes eSports may be the fastest growing segment of media/entertainment. The anlyst also thinks Peter Moore, who will lead the new division, has the necessary vision, legitimacy, and visibility to succeed. Sebastian keeps an Outperform rating and $80 price target on EA shares.
