Baird analyst Colin Sebastian noted that the head of eBay's Americas business, Hal Lawton, was a popular executive among eBay sellers and he views the news of Lawton's departure to another company as a "mild negative." However, he also believes eBay has "bench strength," notes that many of its key platform initiatives are well underway, and said recent July and early August tracker data point to a "decent start" to Q3. Sebastian keeps an Outperform rating on eBay shares.
