Chartier said eBay's structured data initiatives have meaningfully improved the eBay marketplace experience for buyers and sellers, resulting in gross merchandise value inflecting to up 7% in Q4 2017 from up 1% in Q3 2016. The analyst expects high single digit sales or better going forward driven by marketplace acceleration and solid growth from StubHub and Classifieds, combined with continued share repurchases, which will grow earnings in the low double digits or mid-teens.
