As previously reported, Northland analyst Mike Grondahl upgraded Encore Capital to Outperform from Market Perform, with a $49 price target, citing strong earnings and purchases. The analyst believes the quarter was highlighted by strong deployment in Europe, continued improvements in the U.S. market with near record deployments and some incremental spend to increase capacity for U.S. call center.
