Seaport Global analyst Mike Kelly upgraded Energen to Buy and increased its price target to $50 from $36 following Q1 results and revised 2016 production guidance. The analyst assigned additional value for Energen's core Southern Delaware position, accounting for increased productivity on larger completions in the Midland Basin, and increased confidence in planned asset sales.
