Cowen analyst Gutam Khanna downgraded Emerson to Market Perform from Outperform given its narrowing upside to its sum-of-the-parts valuation as well as a transition to 2020 that will limit potential for further upside. The analyst sees easing demand and emerging evidence of potential project slips of large greenfield projects given trade/geopolitical overhangs. Khanna maintained his $72 price target on Emerson shares.
