Oppenheimer analyst Rohit Vanjani attributes yesterday's 18% advance in Endo following news of its new patent relating to Vasostrict as being largely due to a short squeeze. While the patent news is certainly a positive for Endo, the firm's conversations with a consultant indicate that there are still avenues for a generic entry, said Vanjani, who keeps a Perform rating on Endo shares.
