Jefferies analyst Surinder Thind recommends buying shares of Envestnet on any weakness post the company's Q2 results. The company's adjusted earnings and EBITDA modestly expectations beat despite revenues slightly missing, Thind tells investors in a post-earnings research note. The shortfall was in subscription/licensing revenue, which "saw some headwinds emerge," says the analyst. While the updated revenue guide "is sure to disappoint," it does not signal a change in fundamentals, says Thind. The analyst raised his price target for Envestnet to $76 from $65 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
