As previously reported, UBS analyst Myles Walton upgraded Embraer (ERJ) to Buy and raised his price target to $23 from $22, citing the approaching closing of its acquisition by Boeing (BA). The analyst notes that while he sees the possibility of that closing being delayed because of the stalling approval by China regulators, he does not see a significant risk of it being blocked. Walton adds that RemainCo catalysts beyond the tie-up are appearing, citing Embraer's first delivery of KC-390 aircraft to Brazilian air force earlier this month, with another expected to be delivered in Q4.
