Leerink notes that Exact Sciences announced that Harry Connick Jr. and his wife are the celebrity endorser for Cologuard for the next year. The firm believes expectations on the Street were elevated as it was looking for a celebrity with significantly broader appeal and one that could elevate the Cologuard brand via marketing efforts. Nonetheless, Leerink thinks the stock pullback still "appears aggressive." In late morning trading, shares of Exact Sciences have dropped almost 8% to $48.52.
