Northcoast analyst Ryan Cieslak initiated Fastenal with a Buy and a $54 price target telling investors he expects near-term earnings to stand out among peers driven by self-help initiatives and outsized operating leverage, and said margins could trend more favorable in the second half and 2018 given easing freight costs, higher margin fastener sales, and incremental spot activity.
