After Variety reported that Facebook (FB) will host the premier episodes of two new shows from Time Warner's (TWX) HBO on its platform for free, Brean Capital called the news a "trend worth following," as the firm views the deal as an early signal that the social network plans to include more original content in the future. Brean added that its checks indicate hosting of TV content remains "a ways off" for Facebook, but that it is increasingly a focal point for the company. The firm keeps its Buy rating and $108 price target on Facebook shares.
