SunTrust analyst Youssef Squali raised his price target on Facebook to $230 and kept his Buy rating after "exceptional" Q1 results that showed no impact on user growth or engagement despite the recent data privacy controversy. The analyst adds that the revised guidance around the FY18 capital expenditures to fund more security and content monitoring was "better than feared", even though he still expects some deceleration in engagement growth and lower margins in Q2-Q3 as GDPR goes into effect in E.U. next month and U.S. regulators implement tighter data rules.
