Craig-Hallum analyst Brad Berning tells investors in a research note that after watching testimony from the head of Facebook's Libra, David Marcus, all the negative headlines implying Libra won't happen appear misleading and the reality is Libra just has a high bar to clear both to educate law makers and satisfy regulators. Currently there do not appear to be enough politicians to prevent Libra from moving forward, Berning says, but believes the project will take time and should be monitored by investors given its potential profound impact on digital money globally.
