Cowen analyst Novid Rassouli said he is more constructive on the near and long-term fundamentals of copper, citing the supply shortage and recent China data points that suggest a healthy level of demand. Rassouli reiterated his Outperform rating on Freeport McMoRan shares and a Neutral rating on Southern Copper shares.
