Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty said the firm's checks suggest demand for Fitbit's (FIT) Blaze and Alta trackers is ahead of expectations and that Fitbit's first quarter results and second quarter guidance will beat consensus. The analyst also expects the company to raise its full year guidance, which should help disprove the bear case. In the same note, Huberty said that checks showed that GoPro (GPRO) is seeing declines in sell-through and that its Q2 estimates could prove too high. The analyst keeps an Overweight rating on Fitbit and Underweight rating on GoPro.
