Piper Jaffray analyst Troy Jensen lowered his forward estimates on Finisar to reflect concerns regarding datacom pricing and the elimination of ZTE revenues. The analyst hopes this will be the last estimate cut for Finisar for the "time being." He expects improving fundamentals in the company's core optical business during the second half of 2018 and a possible more material ramp in 2019 as 400G products begin to ramp more materially. Jensen also lowered his price target for Finisar shares to $18 from $20. He keeps a Neutral rating on the name.
