Stephens analyst Rick Patel lowered his price target on Fossil to $38 from $52 despite the fact that its Q4 results topped consensus estimates, as he believes it still faces tough market conditions, especially in the first half of the year, and that its earnings will be pressured by foreign exchange impacts in 2016. Wearables could be a long-term positive, though Fossil still doesn't have enough products to compete effectively in that space, Patel added in his post-earnings note. The analyst keeps an Equal Weight rating on Fossil shares.
