UBS analyst Julien Dumoulin-Smith said he believes much of the recent volatility in First Solar shares is due to Chinese demand news flow and he sees shares likely fading into 2H17 as the latest Chinese solar tariffs decline again, putting more pressure on prices. The analyst, who has questions about what Silicon-based technologies will do to pricing and about how profitable Systems can be, lowered his estimates for First Solar and keeps a Sell rating with a $25 price target on the shares.
